Keepin' cool and quiet - installing Dynamat into a '69 Camaro
by Greg Stokes
DYNAMAT is a product which most readers are aware of and as we
begin to prepare or finish our vehicles for the upcoming summer
season, it's a product which shouldn't be overlooked. We recently
had the opportunity to witness the installation of Dynamat products
into Murray Clarke's immaculate '69 Chev Camaro at Classic Upholstery
in East Tamaki, Auckland.
Dynamat's qualities are simple really; keeping things cool and
keeping things quiet. Its uses are varied from engine bays, interiors
and trunk areas from street to race applications. Trust us when
we say it works on everything from steel bodied early Fords to fibreglass-bodied
hot rods and everything in between.

Weekend Wrenchin - Ford Mustang carpet installation
One of the most frustrating aspects of assembling a vehicle's interior
can be the carpeting. Anyone who has done an install themselves
knows how tough something seemingly so easy can be. Follow these
detailed instructions and make your life a little easier.
We use Dynamat sound deadener, the ultimate choice, in 3/8"
and 1/8" thickness to achieve our desired results. There are
many low spots in a Mustang floor that need to be filled in order
for the carpet to lay smoothly. Simply insert a section or two to
fill up the low spots.
